Show of hands: who here doesn’t enjoy free music compilations? That’s what I thought.
The beauty of a compilation album is chances are you’re going to walk away having discovered at least one new band or artist. I can’t tell you how many new bands I found out about from popular compilations like Epitaph Records‘ “Punk-O-Rama” series and Hopeless Records‘ “Hopeless Devoted To You.” It’s a great way to discover new bands without having to shell out a lot of cash for it, which is what “The Free And Cheap” is all about.
DIY company Still Alive Clothing continues in that tradition by releasing a free 24-song compilation featuring up-and-coming Pop-Punk acts like With The Punches, I Was A Hero and much more! You can download it on Still Alive’s Bandcamp page.
